In Portsmouth, New Hampshire is an historic settlement called "Strawbery Banke"(sic), so called because strawberries grew on its banks. One of the historic houses there is shown here. The exterior represents the business like symmetry of the period, but nicely detailed window trim, wide trim boards and a brick faced foundation softens the approach. Inside, the living room is visually anchored by a fireplace with built in cabinets. To the left is the large first floor master bedroom suite. The kitchen is country style with an island and snack bar. Take the sliding doors to the deck for al fresco dining! Upstairs there are three more bedrooms that share a bath.
